Who is the Highest Paid Player in the MLB?

Wow. I never would have been able to figure out this question in a million years. Now, this certain MLB athlete is certainly not an average player. However, he is no where near winning the MVP/Cy Young.

The certain athlete is a great pitcher, who went 15-4 last year with a 2.63 ERA. He was part of a great pitching crew, which is part of the reason I was very surprised. The team went far into the season, and helped lead them into the playoffs.

Overall, this pitcher has been in the league for around 10 years, and through his entire career, had won 107 games and lost 82. He has averaged a 3.65 ERA throughout his tenure, and his WHIP is 1.232.

Finally, his best season was in 2009 when he won the AL Cy Young. He had a 2.16 ERA (Led league), 1.073 ERA (Led league), and went 16-8 in 2009.

The highest paid player in baseball is....

Zack Greinke.

Greinke is earning 28 million dollars with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and will most likely replace Kershaw for the starting spot, while Clayton is injured. Zack has started one game, which he won, and will help the Dodgers in their push for a Championship. Overall, Zack Greinke may not be the best player or pitcher in the MLB, but he is earning his 28 million dollars.

(You might also be surprised to see who number 2 is on the list)
